SFP Transceiver Compatibility

When we talk about SFP transceiver compatibility, the first thing we will think is which part number can be compatible with my device, and how can I choose the part number?

Take Cisco as example, it is easy for us to find a complete and well rounded Optical Transceiver compatibility matrix from Cisco official, Optical Modules with different data transfer rate 100-Megabit, Gigabit, and 10-Gigabit and more are listed seperately for a clear view of compatibility. All the part numbers of optical transceivers, switches and routers can be found accordingly in the matrix. Below is the link for Cisco Gigabit Ethernet Transceiver Modules Compatibility Matrix,

Not only SFP transceiver, the compatibility matrix for other optical transceiver types such as SFP+, XFP, X2, Xenpak, GBIC have also been included.

But when we say the compatibility for generic SFPs, we always associate the SFP with the original part numbers. For example, when you have a Cisco Catalyst 2960 series switch WS-C2960-48TC-L, and you need to deploy a range within 10KM link, so obviously, when you check the Cisco compatibility matrix, you will find the Cisco part number GLC-LH-SM can meet your requirements and this part can be compatible with your WS-C2960-48TC-L, then the GLC-LH-SM will be the target. What we will do is to guarantee the generic SFP you order from us can be functional as original GLC-LH-SM, so the SFP compatibility with your WS-C2960-48TC-L will be no problems.

Therefore, just let us know your requirements and your devices, or let us know your target original part number of optical transceivers, we can confirm the SFP transceiver compatibility immediately.
